Prism of Time
TO HONOUR THE WOMAN YOU ARE TODAY
TO WITNESS. TO HONOUR. TO REMEMBER. TO SEE.
To Witness
Because this version of you deserves to be seen
We spend so much of our lives looking ahead, towards the person we hope to become, the places we haven't yet reached and the things we still want to achieve.
And somewhere in all that becoming, it is far too easy to overlook the woman who is already here.
The one living your life today.
One day you may look back at a photograph of her and wonder why you couldn't see then what seems so obvious now.
Her strength. Her beauty. Her humour. The things she was carrying. The things she was quietly becoming.
Prism of Time is an invitation to notice her now.
Not because this moment is extraordinary.
But because it is yours.

To Honour
Every version of you that brought you here
We all have previous versions of ourselves we would rather forget.

The photograph that makes us cringe. The choices we would make differently now. The things we once wore, believed, wanted or thought important. Possibly even the words we once put out into the world that no longer sound like us at all.

It is easy to look back with the benefit of hindsight and judge the woman we used to be by everything we know today.

But she didn't know what you know now.

She was simply living her life, finding her way: becoming.

And every one of those versions of you played her part in bringing you here.
Prism of Time is an invitation to honour them all - not because you would choose to be them again, but because without them, you could not be the woman you are today.

Heading 5
To Remember
The truth behind the photograph
We photograph the things we think we'll want to remember:
Birthdays. Holidays. Weddings. Celebrations. The people we love.
But there is another part of our lives that is much harder to preserve:
What it actually feels like to be us.
The questions occupying our thoughts. The things making us laugh. The hopes we haven't yet spoken aloud. The uncertainties. The small victories nobody else knows about. The ordinary details that feel too insignificant to record.
A portrait can preserve what could be seen.
Your Letter to This Moment preserves something the camera cannot: what it feels like to be living this moment.
Together they create a record of something time so easily takes from us.
Not simply how your life looks.
But how it feels to be you.

To See
Because time changes more than our appearance
Years from now, you may return to your portrait and your Letter to This Moment.
The photograph will be exactly as it was.
The words won't have changed either.
But you will have.
And perhaps you'll notice something that was invisible to you when they were made.
You may see courage where you once saw uncertainty.
Beauty where you once focused on flaws.
Possibility where you remember feeling unsure.
Or perhaps you'll simply meet the woman you once were with a tenderness you couldn't quite offer her at the time.
That's the beauty of hindsight.
The portrait hasn't changed.
Neither have the words.
But the prism through which you see them has.
